Don’t worry if you think you wont be able to settle your mind or that meditation isn't for you. Don’t worry if you think you'll be bored- you wont be, time will fly so fast, and you'll be so happy you did it.
The breathwork takes place with you, ideally, laying down on your back, with your eyes closed, and music playing in the background as I guide you through the entire session. Often times you will experience an emotional release, which can bring up things such as sadness, anger, and regret, and finally a feeling of letting go, followed by the influx of self-love, feelings of being uplifted, as well as relaxation.
Often during the breathing, you may feel your body temperature change- you may start to shiver as you release fear, or start to burn up and sweat as you release anger. All emotions are welcome. I encourage an open, safe atmosphere around allowing every one of us to feel all of our feelings.
For a private session just bring yourself, an open mind and working lungs ;-)
For a group class, make sure to bring a yoga mat, a small blanket, and an eye mask.
I encourage you to pick one topic that keeps spinning in your head on repeat, the topic that's taking up the most mental and emotional real estate and is causing you the biggest amount of heart ache, pain, uncertainty, or stuck-ness in your life right now, set that topic as your intention for the class, and allow yourself to release it from your mind. Trust the process. Trust that your answers will come to you and
allow yourself to watch what unfolds in the hours and days after the session.
